A sudden alarm rends homey peace asunder;
Hand to the belt, with familiar speed;
Or into the bag, there to blunder;
Thumbs bring up text to read.
Called out, is the cry;
No exercise or meeting, this;
But real cause to fly;
And find out what the problem truly is.
Man missing, the glowing screen proclaims;
Muster Duncan RCMP, it cryptically dictates;
Out the door with all haste is the present aim;
Whence, where, who and how ‐ waits.
Into the morning, bag packed and coat flapping;
Spouse, child, parent, home bid adieu;
Cowichan is mustering;
Theres searching to do.
Rain upon the roa

Camera finally came back from repairs; Olympus has some serious parts issues, apparently. Plus the camera-repair joint in Vic can't be trusted.
First line: we'll be done in a couple weeks, and fix it in-house.
